Rates at Ford Outpost are quoted per person (guest aged 12+) sharing per night and are fully inclusive of accommodation. Children under the age of 3 stay free, whilst children under 12 pay 50% of the standard per person sharing rate.
Rates are quoted in ZAR and are exclusive of VAT at 15%.

Our bush camp is designed for those who love simplicity, comfort, and adventure. It’s a self-catering setup with a central kitchen and lounge area, outdoor fire pit, and shaded deck for lazy afternoons.There is a rustic splash pool to cool off in, in the warmer days. Expect rustic charm with thoughtful touches that make your stay easy and memorable.
We have four spacious canvas tents, each set on a raised wooden deck and tucked into the bush for privacy. Inside, you’ll find comfortable beds, soft linen, and solar lighting. It’s camping — but with a touch of comfort and character.
Nothing beats a hot shower under the open sky. The open-air bathrooms have hot water & flush toilets. Simple, clean, and refreshingly close to nature.
We have a 2-night minimum on weekends and a 1-night stay option during the week, depending on availability.
Bookings cancelled 14 days before arrival receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable.
The camp sleeps up to 8 adults in 4 decked canvas tents, with the option to add additional bedding for children.
No, our camp runs off solar and gas for an authentic off-grid experience — perfect for disconnecting and unwinding.
There’s limited cellphone reception, and no Wi-Fi — giving you the perfect excuse to unplug and reconnect with nature.
Yes, Ford Outpost is a self-catering camp with a fully equipped kitchen, braai area, and gas stove. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks.
Absolutely! You can pre-book a private chef experience or a farm-style dinner by arrangement. Breakfast boxes are also available by prior arrangement. Game drives with sundowners and picnics can also be arranged.
